Born South Wales 1948, Dave was raised in Helston, Cornwall from the age of 4. He moved to London in 1967 to study Modern Languages at University where he discovered the Marquee Club in Wardour Street and promptly turned back on a career in academia and devoted life to: “learning to play the Blues, trying to make a living playing the Blues, listening to other people playing the Blues and playing with various people and bands over the last 30 years until I got to be good enough to play with the fabulous musicians I am playing and recording with RIGHT NOW in The Last Gasp Blues Band”.
