'Home of the Seaside Blues'
The fourth Tenby Blues Festival, in 2009, blew the lid off all expectations with unprecedented full house signs going up all over the town, despite the stormy weather. The small team of hardcore bluesers who stitch it together every year have been chained to their computers to do it again in 2010.
Regular Tenby festival goers will notice a few changes and improvements this year. We learnt in May that our main home since the beginning in 2005, The Devalence, has closed down through lack of enough funding to keep it going, so we have had to change the format by increasing the choice of small and mid size venues and having the main American guest on the Friday at the start of the weekend.
We have also increased the blues education programme with help from Arts and Business. It promises to be the best blues blowin’ jump jivin’ seaside lovin’ festival yet, so come on down, look around here and dig what we can offer to tickle your toes and ears in blues style at Tenby Blues 2010.
